What Is New
Tourist season is in full swing in Charleston with Spring. This is one of the best times to visit the city. The temperatures are very comfortable and the humidy has not set in fully yet. The only thing about this time of the year, it is pollen season. If you are visiting and have allergies, please be prepared for it.
With the weather being amazing for Charleston in the spring, you will want to see as much as possible. The thing though, Charleston can be pricey. I am here to help you get the most out of your Charleston experience without breaking the bank.
Charleston is also a great city to travel with your family and the city has lots of great options of things to do with your kids.

Charleston has so many things to do and see but Charleston doesn't usually ring the bell for a place to bring kids. But, do not worry, there are a lot of great things that you can do in Charleston when you are visiting with children.

The Charleston City Market is one of the oldest public markets in the United States, dating back to the 1790s. Spanning four city blocks in the heart of downtown Charleston, it features historic open-air sheds and the Great Hall, where vendors sell locally made goods, artwork, and souvenirs. The market is especially known for its sweetgrass baskets, handcrafted by Gullah artisans using traditional techniques passed down for generations.
A popular destination for both locals and tourists, the market offers a lively atmosphere with food stalls, handmade crafts, and live demonstrations. Its central location makes it a must-visit spot while exploring historic Charleston.
